Portrait Sessions
What's the difference between the portrait packages?
The Essential Portrait ($350) is a 45 minutes session at one location — perfect if you want beautiful images without a long commitment. The Signature Portrait ($550) is my most popular: 60 minutes, 1 locations, full posing direction, and styling guidance beforehand. The Editorial Portrait ($750) is the premium experience — 90 minutes, 1-2 locations multiple looks, creative direction with a moodboard, and cinematic lighting. All include an online gallery with print-ready files.
What should I wear to my portrait session?
Wear what makes you feel like yourself. I recommend avoiding very busy patterns or large logos, and choosing colors that complement your skin tone rather than clash with your background. For Signature Portrait and Editorial Portrait clients, I offer styling guidance before the shoot — we'll talk through outfits together so you feel confident and camera-ready.
Do you shoot individuals, couples, and families?
Yes — portrait sessions are open to individuals, couples, families, and milestone moments (graduations, maternity, birthdays, etc.). Life moves fast. These sessions are for slowing down and capturing exactly who you are right now.
Where do portrait sessions take place?
Sessions take place at outdoor locations, studios, or meaningful spots of your choosing within the DMV. I'm based in Lanham, MD and know great locations across Prince George's County, DC, and Northern Virginia. If you have a spot in mind, let's use it — personal locations make for the most meaningful photos.
Events
What types of events do you cover?
I cover a wide range — corporate events, galas, conferences, ministry events, birthday celebrations, milestone parties, and more. Whether it's 50 people or 500, I show up prepared to capture the energy, key moments, candid interactions, and everything in between.
What's the minimum booking for events?
Standard event coverage requires a 2 hour minimum at $275/hr. Corporate and premium events are $350–$450/hr with a 3 hour minimum. Rush delivery, extra hours, and gallery upgrades are available as add-ons. Reach out for a custom quote for larger events.
How far in advance should I book for an event?
For events, I recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and peak seasons (spring and fall). Corporate clients with recurring needs are welcome to discuss priority scheduling.
Boudoir Sessions
I've never done a boudoir session — is that okay?
Completely okay — most of my boudoir clients haven't either. I guide you through every single pose. The goal isn't to look like a model; it's to feel celebrated, seen, and genuinely yourself. Every body, every story. No experience required — just a willingness to show up for yourself.
What does the boudoir session fee include?
The $550 session fee covers your pre-session consultation, a personalized client style guide (what to wear, how to prep, what to expect), the 90 minute shoot, and expert posing guidance throughout. Images are purchased separately as add-on packages starting at $425 for 10 images. Hair and makeup is an optional add-on at $100–$150.
Are my boudoir photos kept private?
100% yes. Boudoir images are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. They will never be shared publicly, on my website, or on social media without your explicit written consent — no exceptions. Your session, your choice.
How do I prepare for my boudoir session?
After booking, you'll receive a full client style guide covering outfit suggestions, skin prep, day-of timeline, what to bring, and what to expect. We'll also connect beforehand for a consultation to make sure you feel completely prepared and excited — not nervous.
Booking & Delivery
Do you require a deposit to book?
Yes — a 40% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit is received and a contract is signed. The remaining balance is due before or on the day of your session.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens — I completely understand. Please reach out as soon as possible. Rescheduling requests made at least 48 hours in advance can typically be accommodated based on availability. Last-minute cancellations may forfeit the deposit per the contract terms.
How long until I receive my gallery?
Your fully edited gallery is delivered within 2–3 weeks via a private Pixieset gallery. Boudoir sessions may take slightly longer due to the detail of editing. Rush delivery is available as an add-on if you need images sooner.
Do you travel outside the DMV?
Yes! I'm based in Lanham, MD and love to travel. While I primarily serve Prince George's County, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, I'm available for sessions and events beyond the DMV. Travel fees may apply — mention your location in your inquiry and we'll work out the details.
